Sometimes you look at an industry and think that there's just too many people in it, nothing is going to change. Then people like Charlotte Olympia just explode into the scene and you wonder where she has been all your life! She was soooo made to make shoes. To me, she has been one of those people fulfilling her call as a shoe designer.
Take this pair of pumps from her. The lavender colour is so unusual and when mixed with the gold and a beautiful orchid, the shoe is just perfect. You didn't have to change anything about it and you wouldn't want to anyway.
Could there be a better shoe designer than Charlotte Olympia?
