Shopping is definitely one of Singaporean's favourite hobbies. Our island is so small, there's hardly anything else we do other than eat, watch movies and shop. 

One of my favourite malls in Orchard is 313@Somerset. The main reason is because it has a huge Forever 21 which stocks shoes, accessories and clothes neatly separated on four different levels. I know there's a huge one at Ion but being in there sometimes makes you lose your sense of direction completely! This Forever 21 reminds me of the huge Topshop in Oxford Circus with 3 (or 4?) levels of pure Topshop.

Then there's also Marche, which is my favourite place to go for Rosti. I love those pan fried shredded potatoes with sausages. Amazingly, there's hardly any other place that does Rosti as well as them! Ah, just talking about it makes me hungry.

Anyway, 313@Somerset has launched their new 'by invitation only' programme called CLUB313. Designed for the best shoppers at 313, the membership rewards shoppers with VIP passes to 313 events, private sales, guaranteed redemption of regular promotions and bonus chances in lucky draws. One main plus for me is the CLUB$ which you can redeem for shopping vouchers and complimentary parking. It's like spending to save (I've heard this somewhere before).

To be invited into the programme, you'd have to accumulate a minimum spend of $2000 in at least 6 days of visits over 12 months. To keep track, just present your receipts to the Concierge every time you spend a minimum total of $50 in a day. 

The amount may sound like a lot but accumulating receipts over a year doesn't sound so bad right? If I'm not wrong, 313@Somerset is one of the few malls that actually has their own loyalty program. The ones which usually have these points-rebate system are banks and petrol kiosks! So, hurray to 313@Somerset!
