I must be slow because this watch has been around since the 1967 thanks to a customer who got involved in an accident, crushing his Cartier into a weird shape like this.
The moment I see the aptly-named Crash Watch, I can't help but think of Dali's melting clocks in 'The persistence of Memory'. What critics love about this watch is the humour injected to the elegant world of watch-making. Done in rose gold and set with diamonds, the automatic watch is a collectable and something that would definitely start a conversation.
