Orange Patent Rainbow Leather Wedge, $399

Sorry for the late update today! I ran into a bit of trouble with my phone. I urm... used up all my 32GB of iPhone space, hehe, and I think that'd probably because of all of my pictures.

Anyway, today I went to Atelier Fang's press preview at Mandarin Gallery. Founded very recently by Chinese shoe designer ShiQi Fang, the store showcases three of her shoe collections- Classic, Provocative and Tongue & Cheek.

Crystal Sexy Kill, $599

Like me, ShiQi had just graduated with a degree from the MDIS business management program in Singapore. Despite not having a background in design, her overwhelming love for shoes led her to start her own shoe company. The materials are imported from Italy and made in China. She ensures that every shoe is comfortable by wearing the sample piece for 2 days before approving it.

Since she loved Singapore so much, ShiQi decided to set up her first store here in Singapore. "Singaporeans don't wear enough colour", she said when I pointed out the use of colours in the collection. Yayyye, I love colour too *high five*

For me, I liked the Classic collection best, especially those with the details on the heels most. They look chic, fashionable and are still very appropriate for work! (Sorry, I'm moving into that phase of life) An additional plus for me is the fact that the heels for these shoes are mostly low so it is comfortable to walk in all day :)
