Dressing for the New Year

Chinese New Year is less than a month away! Perhaps you're not freaking out yet but I like to plan what I'm going to wear, in case of a fashion mishap. 

The best way to spend it, personally, is to be decked out in red. Chinese believe that red brings luck and although I don't believe in luck, I like to be dressed in the spirit of the season! It makes my relatives so happy when they see you in a bloop of red. (Hopefully that has an impact on my red packet too?)

Anyway, since many prefer not to wear traditional cheongsams for the festive season, I have picked out a few dresses and tops which you can wear to your parties.
