I recently bought stumbled upon Maybelline's Colour Tattoo range while shopping at Holland V. The colours were so vibrant and attractive that I couldn't say no, so I bought the blue and green ones home. The next day, I put it to the test by wearing it for nearly 10 hours and how did it turn out?
I was impressed! The colour tattoos were easy to use. It's like a small tub of crayon which you can dab your fingers into and apply onto your lids. If you don't like it all bright for the day, you can tone it down and use it as an eyeliner. And if you just want to, the colour tattoo makes for a great base for eye shadow! So those three ways were really making Maybelline's latest product my favourite one.
In those 10 hours, I had some moments where I was perspiring thanks to the heat in Singapore. But did the eye shadow smudge onto the area below my eyes? Nahh! Then, I went for Zumba class and perspired like mad. Did the colour tattoo make it through? YES! And it made it through the class even though I was constantly wiping my face with a towel.
The colour tattoo is really a fighter. It hardly smudges and it is waterproof! WOOOOHOO, no more smudgy make up when you cry :)
So, if you are ever near a good pharmacy, do pick up a Maybelline's Colour Tattoo pod. This is my favourite product of this year and the price just makes it better! It's currently selling at an introductory price of $12.90. AH, Maybelline, I love you!
PS: I love being adventurous with my makeup, so here are some ways I would wear it, as inspired by the latest spring summer 2013 runway trends ;)
PS: It was sold out at Holland V's Guardian Pharmacy and was almost gone next door too at Watson's. It's some hot stuff, yes?
