Depression x HTC

Hot off the press for you! I just attended the launch of HTC ONE X in conjunction with the Depression Spring Summer 2013 show! I think this is a great time to be in fashion because a lot of technology companies are trying to move into the lifestyle sector and they're starting with fashion! (Case in point: Lenovo x ERIIN)

The Depression collection was fresh and new for me. It was the first time I've seen Kenny and Andrew use prints. It wasn't even used in small quantities but on the shirts, on the pants or even leggings for men!

The collection began with a new venture for the duo- colour & fantasy. Evolving around the theme of the unicorn, models walked down Ion Sky's runway in blue and pink digital prints done in a fantasy way. Then after about five looks or so, it reverted back to the heart of Depression- the angular lines, monochrome palette with some popping colour. I have to say, the shoes were wooow! They were mostly flats done in neon pinks and greens.

I loved the hair and makeup done on the models today. The mixture of blue, yellow and pink eye shadow on the eye lid was so electrifying and new. Coupled with the frizzy, braided hair, the whole look was kept edgy and young.

Well, my favourite was the dress with the two chiffon side panels. I loved the contrast of the short dress with long, swaying chiffon that gives the whole look some movement.
