Lust List: Wedge Sneaker

Recently, I read a quote from someone saying, "if there can be hybrid cars, why can't shoes do the same?"

The wedge trend has taken off again with Isabel Marant's chunky wedge sneakers. Personally, I do find them pretty big. I have a pair of high cut Nike dunks for dancing and they already feel like space man boots to me! But thankfully, we have other chic options to look to.

If you really like Isabel Marant and have the cash for it (USD755!), the few wedge sneakers out there would include the Bird Metallic Hi-Top Sneakers from La Garconne. 

For other choices, you have the Nike Sky High Dunks which is my personal favourite. I love the colour red and this pair integrates the signature Nike dunk shape in well. Unfortunately, this style has been sold out for a loooooong time. 

However, recently there has been a second edition! In their collaboration with Liberty of London, Nike has released another Sky High Dunks exclusive to Liberty. The colours are definitely more muted but the shoe still maintains the previous cut.
