I just watched the Burberry Spring Summer 2013 Menswear show on livestream and it was beautiful! Christopher Bailey, Creative director at Burberry Prorsum, has done such a great job revitalising the brand. Before the millennium, the brand had an aging image with its iconic checks dating back more than a century ago. Christopher Bailey was brought in in 2003 when Prorsum was created as the high-end and fashionable range of Burberry.

Last spring summer, he presented a collection with beautiful straw hats and african prints. This season, the prints were extended onto luxurious fabrics like satin on the hottest silhouettes like bomber jackets. On top of that, there were a huge use of metallics in bright colours like electric blue and hot pink. They came in styles from sandals, iPad cases to the iconic trench.
