PUMA recently launched their pop-up Mobium Lab which I think is so cool! It's like a mobile caravan fitted with a mini PUMA shoe display and three treadmills for anyone game enough to try the shoes out.
The Mobium Elite shoe is a new category of performance running. The performance trainer can expand and contract as the foot moves! The innovative footwear adapts with the body in motion, encouraging a more natural and efficient mid-foot strike.
The Mobium Lab will be stationed at different locations island-wide till May 18 and together with this launch, PUMA has organised a Mobium 1.6km Challenge. The most efficient male or female runner in Singapore over 1.6km – measured by a combination of age, average heart rate and timing- can win an all-expense paid trip to take part in PUMA Night Run in Korea, together with a tailored lead-up training programme with Team RunFanatics, PUMA and Maxinutrition Vouchers, and Celebrity Fitness gym memberships (which is my gym and btw, I LOVE IT!)!
To launch the lab and new range of shoes, George Young and Bobby Tonelli, Chris Cheng, Nick Tan, Shanmugam.B, Claire-Louise Jedrek and coaches from Celebrity Fitness attended the media launch of the PUMA Mobium Lab at Marina Bayfront Wilson Carpark on 18 April. They were among the first to take part in the Celebrity Edition of the 1.6k Challenge, with Coach Sham emerging with the best efficiency score of 23.49.
All participants who take part in the challenge will receive a complimentary pair of socks, Mobium Wristband and $10 Voucher (no min. spend) from PUMA, $10 Maxinutrition Voucher and a seven-day trial pass from Celebrity Fitness. In addition, the Top 10 runners for each activation session will also be rewarded with a Mobium Wrist Pouch.
