I have a few favourite local designers in Singapore, of which one is OwnMuse. The duo, Shu Juang and Johanna, are always able to create modern, minimalistic collections that are chic and relevant for the contemporary woman.
For Spring Summer 2013, the collection revolves around the 'slouchy chic' look. Tops are kept structured but soft and light while loosely cut pants still look tailored. There is heavy use of colour blocking to create subtle illusions of proportions, layers and shapes.

The essence of the collection is still very OwnMuse- the looks are all simple and clean, strong while being feminine. That is why I feel that OwnMuse has great potential to grow big because they have consistent collections with a consistent and distinctive look. They are very much like Asia's version of Stella McCartney or Phoebe Philo.
