The folks at Three Floor Fashion have been producing very noteworthy collections since they started three seasons ago. Just last season, their black lace scalloped dress was featured on the home page of Style.com (which is a big thing!). This season, they feature great metallics on clean cuts with playful details like sexy cut outs and flirty ruffles of a peplum.
The collection had a few other 'segments' to it. One was made out of metallics in cool colours. The bead craftwork gives good detailing to the collection and separates Three Floor Fashion from any other online store. No doubt, they are mostly found on the online space, the brand is like a small fashion label that churns out its own unique collections.
I particularly liked the lovely contrast of a strict top matched with the softer looking peplum on the structured A-line skirt. In addition, the cut outs on the tops are done in a way that keeps you looking modest while showing off the skinner parts of your body.
Another segment saw more warm tones with the strong use of orange. They applied the cut-out detailing in a different way like the way Alexander Wang used it. In addition, the dress with diagonal coloured stripes resembled an ensemble from Ostwald Helgason's Spring Summer 2013 collection which Miroslava Duma wore.
With that, I'd say that Three Floor Fashion did well in adopting the significant trends shaping fashion at this moment. It is always important for smaller fashion labels to notice and use trends wisely because that is what keeps you relevant to customers.
Once again, I love this collection (and the price is less steep than the big guns!)
