Cocoa B.

Recently, I received a very interesting offer to customise my own chocolate bar. It was pretty puzzling initially but I soon managed to understand the concept.

Cocoa B. is an online chocolate boutique that allows you to customise your chocolate in two simple steps.

1. Choose your choice of chocolate for your chocolate bar (White/ Milk/ Dark)

2. Select your toppings from 6 categories (Berries & Fruits/ Exotic/ Herbs, spices & powder/ Nutty & Seeds/ Sweets & Candies/ Valentine's)

The prices of each topping varies from $0.30 to $1.50. There are some really interesting ones like chicken floss, chilli flakes, bacon bits and wasabi nuts. I was really tempted to add those to mine but I didn't want to end up not eating the chocolate bar so I chose dark chocolate with dried strawberries, cinnamon and valentine hearts!

The taste was very different from the off-the-rack chocolate bars I buy often. The hint of cinnamon made the chocolate a bit spicy (weird right?) but I really liked the consistency of the dark chocolate!
