Graduation day draws near for me and it got me thinking of places I'll love to work at. One that is perfect to me utilizes both my business and creative background together daily. So for a start, I've thought of three brands!
1. Zara
I've always been in awe of the amazing concept that Zara has: up-to-minute clothes of good quality and decent prices. Founders Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera are geniuses! I learnt in school that they're able to turn fabric into clothes and get them out on the racks in 2 weeks or less! That is seriously some superb supply chain management there. On top of that, they are one of the few giant companies around that doesn't use China as a manufacturing base. Most of their clothes is done in European countries around Spain.
It'd be a dream to design there and learn about their supply chain management! They are seriously the kings and queens of mass market fashion.
Ps: I love you Zara for making all the runway trends so affordable and comfortable!

2. All Saints
This brand captured my heart the first time I found them online. Their designs are full of details like tonnes of beading but still grungy and sometimes vintage. Their store concept is like a mine, with dark wooden flooring and black metal rails. The first time I visited their store in London, I wanted to buy everything.

3. Kate Spade
Colour, colour, colour. I cannot say enough about their prints and colour. Prints may still be trending now but Kate Spade has always been doing prints on anything. If I become a print designer, may I pleeeeease work here?
