A Japanese company by the name of 7youMe sent me these beautiful Japanese party poppers. I know it may sound really silly when I say that I didn't exactly understand what it was about from the pictures he sent me till I used them yesterday. Essentially, instead of having confetti in the party poppers, these are filled with flowers or leaves that are found during different seasons in Japan.
I used the Cherry Blossom or Sakura party popper. It was pretty magical when the little popper went off with a 'bang!' followed by 'sakura flowers' that descended like snowflakes. If many people used them at the same time, it'd make a very beautiful scene. Perhaps this is great for weddings!
7youMe has poppers with 'snow' and 'fallen leaves' in addition to the 'cherry blossoms'. The crackers are made lovingly by hand. I find them very unique because they're not all like your shredded pieces of coloured paper stuffed into a plastic popper. These would definitely add fun to the party and leave the floor looking beautiful.
Unfortunately, they can be bought through the Japanese MoMA site but I can't seem to find the english version of the site. If you can read Japanese, you can buy these beauties!
This website has been loading really slowly for me lately. I thought it might be my cell phone but my friend visits your pages too and she has the same problem. Any ideas?
