Nasty Gal Debut Collection

Just this week, online retailer Nasty Gal released their debut collection. This is not the first case of an online retailer starting their own in-house label. My favourite Opening Ceremony did it too, after they began as a stockist for many indie and less well known brands.

Nasty Gal's collection clearly reflects who the Nasty Gal 'gal' is. It features interesting and hard to come-by dresses like the red and black off-shoulder mini dress with a plunging neckline. Surely from the pictures you can see that their 'gal' is daring and has her own style. She is like a wild fox that loves life and loves dressing up. 

Upon seeing their move into production, I am reminded of the period in time when every webpage I visited was loaded with a Nasty Gal advertisement. It looks like the heavy spending on advertisements have paid off and possibly, Zalora, Singapore's largest online retailer is looking to do the same.
