Asia Fashion Exchange 2013

So Asia Fashion Exchange is back again! And this time, I never expected myself to be even more involved in the whole week than previously. 

I started attending AFX in 2010 as a fashion writer for Fever Avenue. Back then, I hardly knew about the two-year-old festival and was so fresh in the industry, especially when it came to knowing who's who. 

Then in 2011, I attended the festival as a fashion blogger myself. The shows I went to included Star Creation and Parco Next Next. Bloggers were only invited for the shows by the local labels so this was the best it could get.

2012 came and I took part in the AFX Top Bloggers Competition and won! That entitled me to watch every show during AFF. During that time, I also took part in the Cleo Runway challenge for run and got into the finals.

Frankly speaking, this year I thought to myself how I could top last year's mega 'free-pass' to every show. Then came this freelance job at Mercury to help out with digital marketing. It has been for a short time but I've really been learning so much! So guyyyys, you're going to be seeing me at every event, from Asia Fashion Summit to Blueprint's parties. Laila and I will be there as digital girls, reporting live from the events and giving you the updates after show. Our schedule will be very hectic, in fact, there's one day that we start working around 9 and go till 2am without a break and have to cover a party at the end of the day. That's #YOLO for you!

So, wave hi to me when you see me because I'd be like the permanent moving fixture at AFX this year. Much love!
