Sometimes in life, we care about too many things from what tomorrow will be like or how today would be that it gets very tiring. Then, you reach a point when you wish you could just go into a dreamland where all these trivial things don't matter anymore.
This desired devil-may-care attitude is embodied in local label AL&Alicia's collection for spring summer 2013. The dreamscape here, of course, is designer Alicia Ong's vision and look. This season, she embraces classics of womenswear from colour-blocked dresses to pleated shifts. The collection maintains the AL&Alicia signature look- smart casual, feminine and simple looks in neutral and more mellow hues of colours.
My favourites have to be the 'backless' dress and pleated cream dress. They're perfect to feel like yourself without looking pretentious.
