In this digital age, it's funny how no one thought of turning photographs into scarves till Temps Des Reves came along!
Temps Des Reves, which means 'dreamtime' in French, was started by Adrian Mesko, a fashion photographer for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar Australia in 2010. The brand's name was not randomly chosen but was instead a phrase that summarizes his life as he moved from Czechoslovakia to Australia in 1988.
I like how these silk-satin scarves combine fashion apparel with photography. The photographs are like snaps of daily life, sometimes done in a dreamy style. They are pieces of art to wear around your neck and pictures for you to carry around.
It was nice that Temps Des Reves also launched a limited edition collection to raise funds to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. The scarves have beautiful pictures of New York but unfortunately, they're sold out!
Temps Des Reves scarves are available on their website and on Net-a-porter.com.
PS: They do pocket squares too guys!
