Sometimes, simplicity is the best for our over-complicated lives. That was probably what designers Kimberly and Nancy Wu were thinking of when they created Building Blocks.
For Spring Summer 2013, the duo create a range of minimalistic leather bags that use wood blocks and rubber cords as fastenings. The beauty of their collection is how simple and soft their bags look despite the clean and industrial design.
It is no surprise that the sisters are from Tokyo, especially after you've seen their designs and images. The brand is now based in Los Angeles where the bags are all made and assembled.
Building Blocks is available at Nana & Bird, 79 Chay Yan Street.
