A friend of mine once told me that she was impressed by how Korean women took care of their face while removing their makeup. I thought to myself, 'Am I really that rough?' But frankly speaking, sometimes I do get worried at the way I'm treating my eyes especially. And now I've figured out why.
Most of our makeup nowadays hail to be 'waterproof' and that means that a water-based makeup remover like my Vichy one cannot totally remove the makeup. But with my Laneige sampler, the waterproof mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow came off without a fight. I didn't have to rub my eye with any strength at all. It was simply effortless!
Although the Laneige lip and eye makeup remover is oilier than my Vichy one, it explains why it's so good. Waterproof makeup means that water cannot remove it, so the next best thing is... oil. That's what my secondary school science taught me so anyway! I hate looking oily after removing my makeup so I guess the best time to remove it gently would be when you're back home.
I give the Laneige makeup remover a thumbs up for making me treat my eyes well!
