Israel: Golan Heights Winery

One fun stop for me was the Golan Heights Winery in... Golan Heights. This is one of the larger wineries in Israel. For 10 shekels (SGD3.50), you can taste 3 different types of wine. I thought they were very generous with the portions because each glass was half full! (or half empty? ;))

For that price, I wouldn't mind trying some wine but I'm not very good with alcohol. I always find wine sour, no matter how 'sweet' they claim to be. The guy over the counter asked my brother how he liked his wine and all the words like... dry, semi-dry, long finish and everything came out. So to spare myself some from embarrassment, I declined and chose to watch my brother enjoy his wine.

So after a few glasses, we left the winery with a few bottles in hand and a very happy man. My first visit to a winery was pretty cool indeed!
