Coca-Cola Clothing Fall Winter 2013

Coca-Cola does clothing? Yes, they do, and for a few years now. Ever since Fall 2010, the brand has been showing their own clothing line at the Rio de Janerio (Rio Fashion Week). Astounded? I am.

Their looks are usually sporty, with lots of graphics and little hints of the Coke branding. What they make isn't like Coca-Cola apparel but seems more like athletic sportswear to me! They could even tie up with Nike, to be honest.

Smart use of Coke prints. Reminds me of Andy Warhol's Brillo boxes.

Overall, the brand's look is very modern and edgy. Their street wear is done with a coolness to it and I'm still very much surprised this was done by Coca-Cola. I'm not sure why they decided to diversify their brand into fashion but they are sure doing a pretty good job at it. My mental image of Coca-Cola as a traditional brand with the Santa Claus is just gone... like poof.

  1. It's almost like a critique of modern consumerism! Your reference to Andy Warhol is completely right. It's pop art =)

    1. Suddenly fashion seems all too easy to get into. Very very weird!
