Aruna Seth shoes

Yesterday, I attended the Aruna Seth trunk show. It was so exciting to see a whole room of shoes, from flats in leopard prints to wedges with swarovski crystals all over them. 

Aruna Seth is a shoe brand based in London. They've been around for four years and are looking for stockists locally. Their shoes are made in Italy and lined with leather soles. I tried a few on, and the feeling was pretty good! The Bettina flats were my favourites because the cut was slim and fitting to my skinny feet. 

Consistent throughout the collection is the quality of the shoes. They aren't made of your cheap rubber soles with pig leather linings. They're made of leather and covered with suede or satin. Aruna Seth combines quality with classic looks, from sparkly wedges dotted with swarovski crystals to simple, long-lasting flats with their signature butterfly at the front.

If you're a ballerina, you'd notice that the Bettina flats have been modelled after pointe shoes, with the flat stubby tip instead of a normal round one. 

The best thing I like about Aruna Seth's collection is the colour palette. They are often vibrant and matching with their butterfly swarovski brooch at the front. Their shoes are versatile for all kinds of occasions, from elegant dinners to a normal day at work. In fact, you can probably walk in these shoes from your office and straight into your dinner place.

However, quality and form doesn't come at a cheap price. Aruna Seth's Bettina flats are priced around SGD650 and can go above SGD1000 for the wedges, especially for those fully covered with swarovski crystals!
