F1: Maroon 5

Yesterday, I had the privilege of catching Maroon 5 at F1 Rocks! In addition, I made it to the pit building which was amazing! Leanne and I headed to the suite to grab some food and drinks before we joined the human traffic jam to the Padang to catch Adam Levine and gang.

I have to say that the suite was really nice. There was food and dining tables, waiters to serve you drinks. You even get to walk out and sit above the crowd and watch the race! It's just opposite Paddock Club so you can see cars at their pits getting refill and all. Despite all the glitz, I felt like the place was so superficial. Rich people enjoying themselves up in their air-conditioned room with good food and drinks while the public below sit in the heat. It felt so much like a horse race but a more modern one. Well, nonetheless, I am thankful for the chance to go to the suite!

Maroon 5 was good but not awesome. We arrived late thanks to the human traffic jam but Leanne's skills in pushing through the crowd got us just behind the fan zone. I loved the digital backdrop they had for the stage and all! Adam Levine was hot, as usual. Sadly when he sang 'Moves like Jagger', the crowd went crazy but not crazy enough for me! Perhaps it was the audience here that dampened the concert hype!

I don't have tickets to Katy Perry tonight :'( I would love to see her so much but it's been way too hard or expensive buying walkabout tickets! I'll be watching F1 on TV anyway :)
