Kevin Seah Bespoke

Yesterday, I was transported into a whole other world at Kevin Seah's. His Bespoke boutique at Jalan Kilang was like an aristocrat's wardrobe filled with the finest fabrics from mills around the world.

I haven't known Kevin much but this humble man sure worked really hard. Starting as an apprentice to a custom tailor when he was seventeen, the self taught tailor now jets around the world and has been a regular at fashion events. I personally enjoy scrolling through his tumblr where he shares photographs of the suits he made, events he went to and people he met.

A look at his collection immediately reminded me of the Italian men on The Sartorialist (case in point below). They are impeccably dressed and have a wonderful sense of style in suits, often dressed in all colours and fabrics.

Also at the showroom was glasses by Nackymade from Japan. This indie brand makes quirky eyewear in assorted colours and frames, some with ear rests shaped like crocodile heads or crab legs. Nackymade is stocked at Kevin Seah Bespoke and retails from around $600- $800.

The geniuses behind Nackymade!

If you'd like to visit Kevin Seah Bespoke, you can head down to 5 Jalan Kilang Singapore 159405. Alternatively, you can check out his website here

PS: Did you know that the rabbit logo was chosen because it represented Kevin's zodiac?
