Yesterday, JRunway celebrated its official opening at Plaza Singapura. The store is Singapore's first multi-label Japanese store, stocking 22 leading Japanese brands such as Ciaopanic, EMODA, MOMOTARO JEANS, PUTAMAYO, VANQUISH and WEGO.
The runway show featured Japanese models Taku and Tatsuya and popular Gothic Lolita model, Ms Misako Aoki who is also the official "Kawaii Ambassador" for Japan. Bloggers Qiu Qiu and Cheesie also headlined the event.
I'm personally not a big fan of Japanese gothic fashion. I admire the spirit of Harajuku girls but could never envision myself dressing up like one. I too, adore Japanese fashion but don't seem to look that great in it. In fact, a friend told me that I looked TOO CUTE when I modelled for Lowry's Farm. I'm definitely not the 'cute-sy' type of person.
Jrunway is located at Plaza Singapura #01-54, next to the main escalator.
